California
Women Lawyers (“CWL”) is an independent
state-wide organization of attorneys. Member benefits include
a listing in the CWL professional Network Directory that lists
members by area of practice and county location. CWL actively
applies itself to increase judicial diversity through its
judicial evaluation program and its "So You Want to be
a Judge" seminars. CWL also conducts a dynamic grassroots
legislative program on behalf of women's rights with the help
of its Legislative Committee. If we have a sufficient percentage
of concurrent QB/CWL members, QB is able to have a voting
member on the CWL Board of Directors, and Queen's Bench has
a say in the bills which CWL supports and a stronger voice
in statewide public policy debates which shape standards for
women's rights in the workplace and society. Queen's Bench
members are entitled to a $50.00 discount on CWL membership
dues. JOIN CWL TODAY! . |

Below is a link to Senator Dianne Feinstein's speech from the 2006 Queen's Bench Annual Judges' Dinner. The Senator's stunning and enlightening keynote speech, that was covered by many members of the press and reported on network news and in the San Francisco Chronicle, described how President George W. Bush is expanding his Executive Branch Power.
