Queen's Bench Bar Association of the San Francisco Bay Area was formed in 1921 by a group of women lawyers frustrated by the resistance of male lawyers to their participation in the local bar association. Queen’s Bench seeks to advance the interests of women in law and society, and plays an integral part in furthering the progress of women in the legal profession. We are a non-profit voluntary membership organization made up of attorneys, judges and law students. We gain inspiration from our long and proud tradition of women lawyers standing up for equal rights and equal opportunity, and working together to achieve our goals. Read on...
